v is for...

vroom!

Oh yes... my getting-to-be-quite-grown-up daughter started Driver's Ed today. We've been driving a little here and there... getting to know the car and a safe parking lot, or two. But now she is getting professional instruction... which is probably a really great idea! I actually did not think I would be the one... to take her out driving... the one that she would rather drive with. But it turns out I am... and it is not a bad thing for the two of us. But I am really hoping she learns a lot these next two weeks in class!

Check out A to Z Monday at Jen's!

VROOOM!! Love it. Cool that your girl would prefer to drive with you. Our Jessica chose her dad over me to drive with...then she opted for a driving school, as both of us were a bit too nervous for her! Good V word! Blessings.

Been through this twice, and I'm alive to tell the tale! ;) She'll do fine, I'm sure, under your guidance(and the instructor). Congratulations to your daughter for this milestone.

Congrats to Laura. I hope this is easier than MOM teaching...I too have thought of this method. Getting close to 16 and still no desire to drive!!!
Good luck!

Oh, the rites of passage of the teenager! Amazing how they grow up and have licenses before you know it!

Does your heart go Vroom as well? My granddaughter has her permit and has over four months of drivers ed, but I'm still a nervous wreck when she drives. Poor kid is pretty good at it, but I still get palpatations!

Perfect V word for someone with Patients!! :)

You brave soul--I was scared to death to ride with my son. Maybe it was a boy thing. Have fun and be careful out there.
Happy Monday.

My children are 10 and 8, so I have a while before I'll have to go through the V word. But I'm sure it will be here sooner than I think! Cute V word :)
