The bunny was kind... lots of eggs hidden and found... and quite a few chocolatey sweets.
Church was glorious... so many shouts of He is alive! and Christ is risen!
We shared a delicious dinner with family and friends.
And then there was dessert... the most appropriate dessert for the time and place.
Easter Sundaes!
There was ooo-ing and ahhh-ing all along the sundae bar, and each creation looked yummier than the last. It was certainly a happy ending!

What a great Easter dessert idea! YUMMY...this is right up my alley. Glad to hear you had such a nice ending to the day. I've enjoyed reading your posts leading up to Sunday (I cry in church, too :-) We had such a great weekend, but I've been too tired to upload all of my photos....hopefully soon while my memories are still fresh. Resurrection Day also looked like a very tasty day for your family! I think of you as the ice cream/Jesus loving girl, so how appropriate to have Easter Sundaes.
